In 1963, a small synagogue was built on what was barely more than farm
land in the southernmost portion of the Denver metro area. Today,
Congregation Beth Shalom (CBS), the southern-most synagogue in the
metro area, enjoys the spaciousness of a new 21,500 square foot facility with
abundant seating in our sanctuary and social hall for more than 300. .
CBS is a warm and inviting
synagogue embracing
Jews from a diverse range
of religious philosophy and
practice. In delivering on
our commitment to
provide a broad range of
programming to serve our
members and the Jewish
community, CBS operates
a well-respected religious
and Hebrew school for
grades K-8, an active
Sisterhood, a stimulating
social club, incisive adult
discussion groups, B’nai
Mitzvah and Shabbat and
holiday services.
Even though we have moved to a larger facility, Congregation Beth
Shalom remains the same intimate Jewish experience that it has always
been throughout our 42 year history. We would be honored to have
you and your family join us at one of our upcoming events.
